With over 35 impressive applications submitted this year, the selection process was more challenging than ever. We are confident however, that the 21 scholarships winners chosen are an excellent representation of “attitude” and each of them expressed to us, their own unique commitment to education.
Elysha Vanderveer – “Elysha has the curiosity to drive them and the determination to carry out what needs to be done. This is the secret to successful education. One can be educated only when one allows curiosity and passion to lead their mind.”
David West– David states: “Having the right attitude is largely based on one’s outlook on life, being willing to make sacrifices, to seek assistance when needed, and to be a positive example to those around you”.
Allison Wood - Allison writes: “I know that this comic presents an idealistic view of having a good attitude, nobody can have a good attitude all of the time, but whenever possible, I try to think of the bright side of things and I know this will help me to accomplish practically anything”.
Gracie Tetzlaff - Gracie writes: “I believe that goal setting is a moving target. I have learned to be proud of my accomplishments one day and try to beat them the next day. I do celebrate my successes but try not to bask in the glory for too long. I ask myself, what can I do now?”
April Wright - “April demonstrates leadership, honesty and integrity on a daily basis. She is an inspiring young lady who shows not only passion for the things she takes on, but genuine enjoyment as well.

Mandy Inglis - “Mandy’s unwavering commitment to performing at the highest level of her potential and the hours that she has put into every challenge is what sets her apart from her peers.”
Sarah Madge - Sarah has been described as a young woman whose efforts have been nothing short of heroic. She is a person you can always count on to never give up and to never give in when the going gets tough.
Shareena Marling - Shareena states: “I look at life from a humble perspective and I know that I have much to learn as well as much that I can share with others.
