Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Applications must be “POST MARKED” no later than April 28, 2017 to be considered.

Purpose
To identify high school students who demonstrate the ‘right attitude’ and provide them with monetary assistance to attend a Canadian post-secondary institution of their choosing. Students of all levels of study are invited to apply.

 

Fields of Study*
Students must be enrolled full-time at an accredited Canadian post-secondary institution for the 2017-18 school year. This may include a trade school, college or university.

 

Value
$2,000.00

 

Conditions
 Candidates must:
  1. Be graduating in the 2016-2017 school year or may be 2015-2016 graduates who are taking a 5th year in high school or who have taken a gap year (the student cannot have attended a post-secondary program).
  2. Be Canadian citizens.
  3. Be current residents of Northumberland County.
  4. Be attending a high school within Northumberland County.

Important Dates

  • April 28,  2017 – Deadline for application packages to be mailed (post-marked)
  • June 12, 2017 –  Date by which successful candidates will be notified, on or before.
  • June 23, 2017 – Awards dinner for all successful candidates and one family member
